Welcome Area 33
Toastmasters - my
name is Mick Ryder
and I will be
serving as your Area
33 Governor during
the 2009-2010 year.
If I haven't visited
your club already, I
would love to do so.
I'm anxious to meet
all the Club
Officers and members.
It's my goal this
year to visit all
the clubs at least twice, if
possible, and to
communicate often
through this
newsletter.
I want it to be a
two-way
communication: I
will be sending you
news and information
and I hope to hear
news about your club
and club members.
Let me know about
your club contest,
when members join,
when they receive any
educational and/or
leadership award -
or any other news you think
the Area and
District would like
to hear about.
In each newsletter -
the "What's In
This Issue"
section will
highlight note-worthy items. And
this will help you
in your planning for
your club's success.
Remember, it won't
happen without some
planning on your
part.
Let's plan now for
all clubs to be
Distinguished
or better by the end
of June 2010.
The first step is to
have a minimum of 4
club officers
trained.
Training dates are
listed at the left.
Also, now is a good
time to start
planning your club
contest - time to
order the necessary
forms, find some
judges, book a model
speaker (for the
evaluation contest),
and pick the date
and location (please email date
to me). |
